  • $2,000 Onboarding and Setup Fee

    • Paid upon initiation of the agreement

What are you paying for?

  • Expertise - We serve a niche market of BigLaw attorneys like you. We have the experience and credentials to deliver the highly competent, quality service that you have earned.

  • Time - Not just our time, but yours. What is your time worth? Is it best spent on becoming an expert in financial planning and applying that expertise as issues arise?

  • Focus - We can serve a lot of people at a lower price point, or we can serve a niche market at a fair price point that allows us to focus our attention on you and your issues.

What are you not paying for?

  • Beating the Market - We believe that saving you money by keeping your investment fees, taxes, and transaction costs low is a much more reliable strategy than trying to pick hot stocks. Not to mention the savings you may enjoy by reducing emotional investment decision making mistakes.

  • Timing the Market - We do not believe anybody can consistently predict when to get in and out of the stock market. The best time to start investing was yesterday. The next best time is now. Time in the market is far more important than timing the market.

  • Biased Advice - We do not earn any compensation other than the fees we are paid directly from clients for our advice. We do not receive commissions from product sales, revenue sharing from investment funds, or increased compensation from recommending proprietary products. Our minimum quarterly fee reduces our incentive to simply gather assets to charge a % fee.


understanding - is it worth it?

The minimum flat fee for ongoing financial planning is $1,500 per quarter.

For perspective, this is:

  • Less than 3% of a first-year Associate’s salary if we assume the BigLaw salary scale

  • Equivalent to 1 hour of services per month under the Hourly Service, but with no cap on access for ongoing clients

  • A way to offer real financial planning services to those who need it but do not yet have the large investment account balances required by many other firms
